Yellow Bird is a lovely, spacious one bedroom villa, overlooking the Caribbean Sea at Oualie Bay, Nevis.

The villa is slightly elevated, being built into the steep lower slopes of Round Hill. Nestled into a half acre private, mature garden with a private pool, sundecks and balcony, there are magnificent views across the 'Narrows' towards the south east peninsular of St Kitts.

The accommodation is well decorated and furnished in pretty Caribbean hues and patterns. The large open plan living area with LCD TV and cable and the dining and kitchen areas open on to the balcony and decks. The master bedroom opens on to the east facing deck and is sheltered from the sun by one of the garden's enormous flamboyant trees. There is a large closet space and walk in shower in the bathroom.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas range, freezer, refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. The kitchen space is well arranged.

Outside is a large, mature hillside garden, with a private pool and barbecue stand. There is gated parking for one vehicle.

Yellow Bird is fun and cosy, very spacious, light and bright. Perfect for couples and honeymooners, with plenty of privacy and seclusion without being too isolated. The local manager meets all guests and the housekeeper attends twice weekly.

Oualie Bay Beach is directly opposite Yellow Bird and access is a mere 4 minute stroll from the garden gate. Oualie Beach is quiet and sheltered with superb swimming.

Oualie Beach has a bar and restaurant and offers other activities including, bikes to rent, bike riding, scuba diving and boat trips.

Flexible check in times

From Newcastle International Airport drive in a westerly direction, following the Main Island Road as it turns south along the coast. Go through Oualie Bay and Yellow Bird will be found on the left behind white gates, about 150 yards after Ridge Road. The total time by car should be about 8 minutes.From Charlestown, take the Main Island Road in a northerly direction. After about 20 minutes you will enter the Parish of St James. Yellow Bird will then be found behind the white gates on the right, opposite the southerly end of Oulaie Bay.
